CNN Expects To Charge For Online News

A CNN exec has said that he expects online news sites to charge for news at some point in the future. It’s good to see that CNN execs have no creativity in trying to find a business model that works. With a site like CNN that doesn’t offer much news that isn’t available elsewhere, I think they’d have a difficult time getting enough people to pay for it to make money. They did say that CNN has no plans right now to charge – just that it will probably have to happen eventually.
