Why ReplayTV Is Not Napster

from the it-all-comes-together dept

Business Week has a good article explaining why the television industry should be embracing ReplayTV instead of trying to sue it out of existence. They make some of the same arguments I’ve been trying to make about other industries that are trying to sue technologies out of existence. They’ll get much further and open up new opportunities by embracing the technology. Sooner or later the technology is going to cause problems for them. Isn’t it better to work with the technology creators to figure out ways to benefit, instead of living in denial?
