Watch The Zaplet Turn

from the try-try-again dept

Well, well. We’ve talked about the idiocy that is Zaplets before. They started out as a company that said they were going to “revolutionize” email by letting you put webpages in email. Yes, they were trying to revolutionize something that didn’t need revolutionizing by doing something that wasn’t particulary revolutionary (or, actually, useful). Then (of course) they changed focus to be an “enterprise software” company, becuase everyone was becoming an enterprise software company. Now, that everyone’s focused on security stuff, they’re licensing their technology to the CIA. I think this is amusing because every damn article about the company when they first started up had to mention that the founder came from the CIA – and now that fact actually has something to do with the company rather than being a useless fact.
