An article about how many tech companies are putting renewed emphasis on long term research. Mostly, the article talks about research at Intel that has them continually looking for disruptive technologies that could eventually have a huge impact on their business. I think it’s good that they’re not just waiting around to see what takes them by surprise, but are actively trying to take themselves by surprise.
