The .info Fiasco

I don’t think I’ve heard a single good thing about the registration process for .info. Now comes the news that up to a quarter of the registrations may be bogus. The company even admits that they didn’t actually check any of the data they were given – they just assumed that everyone would tell the truth. So, people completely made up trademark info and Afilias said it was fine and gave them the domains.
