Boo.com Story As A Movie Starring Cameron Diaz

from the sounds-like-a-winner dept

Ugh. So, they’ve already made movies about GovWorks and Kozmo.com. We’ve also talked about people trying to make movies about Napster and TheGlobe. Now we find out that they’re trying to make a movie about the collapse of Boo.com. The founders have apparently written a book called BooHoo.com which is being marketed with Boo.com-like ridiculousness. Part of that is trying to sell the movie rights saying that the founders should be played by Ed Norton and Cameron Diaz (both of whom “have been approached”). I’m hoping (really hoping) that no studio is so stupid as to actually think this is a movie worth making.
