Microsoft's Uncivil War
from the internal-strife dept
Business Week has a very interesting review of a new book about Microsoft. Apparently, the book looks at the internal struggles that went on over the past five years – mainly between Jim Allchin and Brad Silverberg, which explain a lot of their actions during the trial. A lot of the emails that made them look so bad were, in some sense, taken out of context – since they were arguing internally. It sounds like a pretty interesting book that might be worth checking out. The book is called: Breaking Windows: How Bill Gates Fumbled the Future of Microsoft.
