Is AT&T In The Mood For I-Mode?

Excited about the idea of i-Mode in the US? Maybe you shouldn’t be. AT&T and DoCoMo are working together on a new service, but it won’t be the same as i-mode, won’t be called i-mode, and probably won’t work as well as i-mode. Plus, since it’s going to run on a different network than the current PocketNet system, they’re going to have to support both, which could cause lots of confusion for both consumers and developers.
