Local Governments Still Want Tech Companies

A new study says that state and local governments finds that they’re still focused on attracting high tech companies to base operations in their towns and cities. I wonder how much of this is just left over policy from the last year (when has the government ever acted quickly?) and how much is genuine optimism for tech companies?
