Police To Annoy Thieves With SMS

Police in Amsterdam have a new plan on how to deal with thieves who steal mobile phones. They’re going to start sending them SMS messages every three minutes to annoy them into giving themselves up or something. It also will make it harder to resell the phone when the message reads: “This device is pinched. Purchase or sale is an offence – the police”.

One guy was in police station when he got “SMS bomb” on his mobile. It seems that some mobiles were “turned in”
