How The Feds Track Cyber Crimes

from the catching-computer-fraudsters dept

A good article looking at the multi-agency “cyber crime” group CATCHR (Computer and Technology Crime Response Unit) that is headquartered in San Diego. The article has some good stories about some of the cyber criminals they caught, and how. It sounds like they mostly go after disgruntled employees who get pissed off and mess up the systems of their company.
