E-Stamp Leaving The Stamp Business

from the um...-name-change,-anyone? dept

It can’t be good for business if your company’s name is E-Stamp and you announce that you’re leaving the postage business. Apparently, E-stamp is moving into supply chain management. I would not be surprised if they changed their name in the near future. Also, considering the large number of companies that are already in the supply chain management business, what makes E-Stamp think that they’re qualified to gain a large share of that market? They couldn’t even make money off the basic business the company was built upon, so why should we believe they can handle complex supply chain management software?
