Bulls In Silicon Valley

from the they're-everywhere dept

Apparently, the Bulls are coming back to Silicon Valley. Of course, that statement has nothing to do with the stock market. An artist is going to be displaying over 1,000 life-sized fiberglass bulls all over Silicon Valley. While the article says it’s based on an art display in Chicago, I noticed fiberglass cows all around New York City as well on a recent trip. Apparently, large statues of cows and bulls are America’s new art form. Maybe we’ll start putting pictures of cows and bulls on Techdirt to show how artsy we really are. Either that, or maybe we should sponsor a bull (it’s only $7,500). If anyone wants to donate towards sponsoring a Techdirt bull contact us.

Oh sure

Yeah, you wish that Silicon Valley could get a little more culture and yet you mock the fiberglass bovinia. Steak consumption skyrocketed in the Windy City during the fiberglass cow era, as did interest in finding the weirdest/coolest cow (cubist cow ruled). Write the cost off against the ad revenue stream for techdirt and maybe if you put it in your yard, chicks will come to your house to “check out your bull”.
