Xerox Denies Bankruptcy Plans
from the makes-you-wonder dept
Apparently, lots of people are thinking that Xerox is about to declare bankruptcy. The company, however, denies it, and tells people to stop being stupid. They’ve got plenty of money. Really. Trust them. Of course… when a company claims they don’t have any cash problems due to their huge “credit line” rather than the cash they have in the bank or incoming revenue, you have to wonder a little bit.

XEROX SHOULD SPLIT
I would love to see Xerox split up into independently run companies. There is too much management overhead in the organization as it is. There own internal network is a complete mess and needs straightened out. Blah blah blah.
Given that Xerox is one of the world’s foremost R&D companies around, let them split up so that each new organization can compete more effectively to become top dog in their own competitive marketspace. FOCUS MAN, FOCUS!!
Re: XEROX SHOULD SPLIT
Probably a smart move. Of course, in theory, the larger company should be more efficient with overhead since they can spread more duties across a smaller number of people. However, I think it’s clear that Xerox has yet to show their ability to do that well…
