Fosters Goes Virtual

from the it's-Australian-for-dot-com dept

An interesting look into how Fosters (yes, the Australian beer company) is moving into the computer age. From the way they talk about it, it sounds like one of the more sensible plans of an “old economy” company moving to take advantage of new technologies. They talk about the basic fundamentals of business, and how technology can improve them, and they don’t seem to be buying any of the crazy hype from dot coms. To be totally honest, it’s refreshing to hear such talk from a company these days.
