The Educated Escort web page is pretty popular among geeks I know (though, mostly the males). The joke is (of course) if you can’t find a date, then why not just give the educated escort a ring… Well, Salon has a story about someone who sounds a little too obsessed with the Educated Escort, and has gotten to know her a little bit (without having to pay the fees). It seems she is actually kinda geeky (and retiring from the escort business). The story is somewhat amusing, though confusing at times (I’m still not entirely sure what happened). However, it is also funny if you’ve seen the movie The Tao of Steve (which should be required viewing for many guys) as he follows “the rules” to successfully land a “lunch date” with Anne Marie.
