Companies Banning Cell Phones While Driving

from the good-for-them dept

Companies are starting to realize that they might be liable if you get into a driving accident while talking on a cell phone for business. Thus, some companies are telling workers to stop using cell phones while driving. I think that’s a good thing. While I have to admit that I’ve been guilty of talking and driving, I’ve seen too many bad drivers on cell phones to let it continue. I recently bought 2 different hands free kits for my car (one with an ear plug, and one that plugs directly into the car stereo speaker system). It’s only a matter of time before it becomes illegal to drive while holding a phone to your ear.
