I?ve heard of stockholder activists in old economy companies but it seems that in the current state of some tech stock valuations, new world shareholders are also following the actions of those in the old economy. AOAF is a coalition of stockowners that try to increase the valuation of new economy companies that they feel are undervalued. They achieve this through pushing for changes within the companies themselves. I guess they?re already bugging CEO?s of good but wayward Tech companies (which, I have to admit that I support!).
