A great column at SFGate about the feelings the author has towards all the dot com folks. First he talks about all the enticements to go dot com instead of staying with his boring job at the Gate. Then he talks about all the recent backlash, and the pity he feels as he realizes that plenty of good ideas, people and companies are getting stomped out as everyone says that dot com mania is over.
