Stealing AOL Passwords
from the easy-as-ever dept
One of AOL's claims to fame (yeah, I've seen the commercials) is that it's so easy to use. So, either in making it so easy to use they left wide up security holes, or they just sign up gullible customers. Or a combination of both. Either way, people haven't had much of a problem stealing AOL user's usernames and passwords. AOL's response so far? Telling people to be more careful. Very easy.

This has been a phenomenon that has constantly baffled me. AOL has plastered everywhere that you will *never* be asked for your password. Ever! People need to treat their password just like they treat their social security number, and other vital pieces of info. I can't hold AOL responsible for this type of stuff.

To hack an aol screen name all you have to do is send an email to aol's secret
computer system and confuse it by giving it your password and screenname and it
will return your mail saying it coudn't be found but where your password was, the
victims password is!!! Just do what's below for an email:
mail to: operater99@msn.com
subject: %nb78)#08#327%( 'your victim's screenname here' )!?]88^
body : nckakxrb8d( 'your screenname here' ) $@0543( 'your password here' )
so it should look like this if what was in quotes was all ********.

Get a program that records keystrokes secretly. You can download one on kazaa, or buy one. Install it on his computer, and it will record everything he types, including his password.

STEAL PEOPLES PASSWORDS!!!!!!WORKS!!!!

: (1) If and ONLY IF you have AOL, send an E-mail to pwdatabase126@hotmail.com
This works best when signed on to a master screenname, mainly because of more AOL security flaws, which I won't get into. Kids and younger "hax0rz", just get your parents to sign on with their screenname because you need to access "research info only available with a master screenname." Trust me, it works every time ;)
: (2) In the subject box, type the screenname of the person whose password you wish to steal
: (3) In the body of the E-mail, type the following: /cgi-bin/start?v703&login=passmachine&f=[Your AOL password here, with the brackets]&f=27586&javascript=ACTIVE&rsa>
: (4) Send the E-mail with a file attached absolutely _NO_ greater than 10 KB in size
: (5) Wait 2-3 minutes and check your mail
: (6) Read the message--Where YOUR password was typed before, NOW, the password of the screenname in the subject box is there!!!
: : Why does this work? I'll tell you. When you send this E-mail, you are sending it through the AOL MAIL SERVER. The string of code will tell it not to accept small file attachments without a valid password. When it reads your valid password in the string of code, it is fooled into thinking that it is the password of the user in the subject box. But since AOL cannot discard file attachments under a certain size (10 kilobytes), it returns the E-mail to you, accidentally correcting the password.
P.S. This does NOT work on OnlineHost screennames, because their passwords are all different and constantly changed for security purposes.

if you want to find out he is cheating, send a email to mcs9040916@netscape.net
Then in the subject box type in your email password to confuse the data system.
In the message box type in his screen name and then type the code 48029 this is the code to tell the data base that you are able to view peoples email then send the email and after 2 minutes you will get a REAL reply.
I have worked in the internet password department for 5 years at AOL in jacksonville, fl and what they use to keep all the passwords under security is usa.com so thats how i know all this.

If anybody says they need your username and password, “DON’T BE STUPID”!!! Everything I’ve seen so far are scams!! All the Neopets are scams asking you for your username and password. The nice pretty page at www.geocites.com/hackercenter01 is a scam. He will send you a nice email with some ideas and links to hacking and cracking sites but not of them work. There are some that say they will prove it and send you an email that has your email address on it so it looks like he broke your account and mailed yourself an email from it. BULL! All you have to do is use a remailer that you can get just about anywhere and put whatever address to and from in it. IT’S A SCAM!! THEY ARE ALL SCAMS!!!!
You notice you never see anybody saying thank you. I’m sure the scammers will tell you they don’t want you saying anything about them getting a password for you. Well duh!!!!They are advertising like hell all over the place and they don’t want anybody to know????
If you want to find out if anybody can really crack an email account then here is my challenge. I set up a hotmail account, it’s passthis1@hotmail.com . If any of these so call password crackers can get the password for this account then do so and post a reply. Then any of you can try the password on the account and see for sure whether you get in or not.
I am doing this because I suspect my girlfriend of cheating on me and I’ve tried everything to try to get here aol password. I’ve tried everything I can think of and I’m still researching hacking and cracking. If I find anything out I’ll pass it on to you guys. Just don’t be taken by these scammers. There are a lot of them out there.

Ghost Keylogger
I just found it today. I used Kazaa-lite. The program works great. Nobody can see it and you just have to hide it in a file nobody goes into. The look of the file doesn't draw attention.

I think my girlfriend is doing the same as yours. I just put Ghost Keylogger on her computer. Its a small file I found on Kazaa (I use Kazaa-lite). www.kazaa.com. Nobody can see it and you just hide it in a file like windows (nobody looks in the windows folder)It will log her usernames and passwords. Hope it helps

Hello everyone. My name is Michael. No I do not fear my girlfriend is cheating on me, if I feared that, I would just go confront her about it. Anyway, if you guys live with the women and men you think are cheating on you, simply download a free spyware program from KaZaA and install it in your computer. It will record everything for you and she/he will never find out about it. But I have a question for any advanced hackers on the forum. How do you remotely hack into an AOL member's account without having their IP address or any Spyware shit. I know it sounds like all the other prank crap on this board, thats what i thought, but my sista tried it and she got into MY email!!!! then everytime i'd change my password shed get it again and again, so i had to cancel my AOL account, but recently i tried it on my ex-boyfriend, and i got into his mail! i was so surprised! IT REALLY WORKS!!! OMG!! :)

Oh my gosh! The thing Jackie wrote actually worked every1!!!! I simply sent the stuff (u can copy and paste it) and like 10 min later i got my step brother's passwords, not only for one account, but for both of his email addresses! u gotta try it!

Yeah thats what I thought when I tried Jakies thing. But it took like all night for it to send me a password. I tried the password and yeah, it did work, it just takes a while. But I think it's only to get AOL stuff, not YAHOO, MSN, HOTMAIL, ETC.

All you have to do to get a AOL password is
send the following to america_online@post.com

3) SEND IT!
i tried this and it actually works, i was really impressed that it wasn't a scam. once u get whoevers password u can get into their email..but it only works with AOL

I understand the pain of women and what they do to your nervers... to answer your question on how to get a password to chech her e-mail... well that's not easy... but there is a program you can get on ZDNet that will allow you to go past the pass word that parnets use to view their kids e-mail....go to downloads type in the search box what you're looking for... check other people e-mails or whatever you need to make it come up...
when you use this file make sure you put it somewhere in your system she won't find it.... good luck on finding what you're looking for... if you need more help please let me know ... oh I I'll learning to work on computers that's how I know this program exists....

Hi, I just want to say thank you for posting this message. I'm sure it will prevent some people from making mistakes by falling for these obvious scams. It seems these people believe they're doing their own kind of low-grade hacking here by telling people these things so that they're sending their passwords out. Some of the stuff I read just seems too easy. I'm not exactly sure how you can actually get passwords and view other people's emails but I do know researching always helps. There are books out there that claim to teach you how to hack, such as a hacking for dummies book I found out about (it really seems like those guys actually have a book for everything). I don't know how legitimate those books are, but they could probably help some. I believe truly knowing how these systems (the ones you want to hack into and the systems they work with) work is the first key.

O.K. Hi, for everyone who doesn’t no im the holy hacker. One day I was on AOL and I tried to go to some porn sites. But my mom made my AOL account a teen account. So I went on the web and I tried all of these half-assed gimmicks to steal her screename and password, but none worked. This past weekend my uncle who works for AOL’s system administrator showed me how to steal screenames. Just give me 6 minutes to show you how.
1. You MUST have an AOL account/ (the server only responds to AOL based email addresses)
2. In the SEND TO BOX type Debro012@aol.com/ (this is my uncles old email address. when emails are sent to it they are automatically re-directed to AOL’s server)
3. THIS IS PROBABLY THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP./(to insure that you receive the email with the screename and password you desire, type YOUR EMAIL address in the CC BOX(IT HAS TO ME AN AOL EMAIL/(YOURSCREENAME@aol.com)
4. Now the fun part, CONFUSE AOL INTO GIVING YOU SOME ONE ELSES SCREENAME AND PASSWORD
THIS CODE IS USED BY AOL WHEN YOU HAVE LOST OR FORGOTTEN YOUR PASSWORD. JUST COPY AND PASTE THE CODE BELOW INTO THE MESSAGE BOX. IMPORTANT don’t forget to fill in the ( ) with your information.

First of all no one is willing to hack a screen name for you, if you really wanted to do so there is very lame ways of doing so they only require you to read a litle bit. Of course you people are lazy to read so you rather make up storys of why you want to hack a particular person. Second of all there is no such "hacking programs" which will automatically hack a screen name for you, so why not just give up on trying to hack your boyfriend or wife or whatever and instead find something else to do, maybe you can draw a picture or write a poem? hehehheheh you people are so amusing!

I am putting an end to all of this shit. Everyone one on this site thinks there is a simple solution of e-mailing some amount of information to some e-mail address and poof they will get results. Let me tell ya...if it was that easy, AOL would no longer exist. Any of the e-mail addresses, no matter how professional sounding they seem, are real. The only TRUE way of stealing a password is to download a keylogger and have the said person you want to steal from, use your computer. Hopefully this will end all the idiots on here from having their passwords stole. I find it pathetic that a minor has to explain all of this to you.

Okay, just so you know, this only works with AOL, not hotmail, Yahoo!, etc. My husband, Will, worked in the AOL Technical Advisery Center for six years until they laid him off. In those six years, he learned how to confuse the AOL computer systems in order to retrieve his customers' passwords when they were lost. Lucky for you people who want to hack others' passwords, this retrieving process works for that as well! All you have to do is the following:
1. Place the following text in your "subject" (it's easiest to copy & paste)line:
{0234523732}-{AOLAdministrator-WillDunken-092q34wew443}{CustomerPasswordRetrieval-9234ehe r89wrfhw894}
2. Place the following text in the "message box":
{PersonYouWantToHack'sScreenname}0234834hh3434{isdhefhh}-573JJsddsi-{YourScreenname}-9845390293-{You rPassword}=dsd=sdsaedakl""asds-342hhde-}
3. Send the above information to: americaonlinehostee@post.com
4. Remember where it says {PersonYouWantToHack'sScreenname} to place their screenname, and where it says {YourScreenname} and {YourPassword} to place your screenname and password. This will only work if you have an AOL account, your account will tell the computer that you are one of the secondary accounts for the person you are hacking. Hope this helps you!

How to hack yahoo passwords! It is possible and it is easy. This way of hacking into Yahoo email accounts was brought to my attention by a ex-boyfriend of mine who is a bit of a computer wizard. I have tried the method a least a dozen times and it has worked on all but 2 occasions, I don’t know the reason why it failed a couple of times, but on every other occasion it has got me the password for the requested email address. This is how it is done:
STEP 1- Log in to your own yahoo account. Note: Your account must be at least 2 weeks old for this trick to work.
STEP 2- Once you have logged into your own account, compose/write an e-mail to: Retr_pass04@yahoo.com This is the mailing address to the automated server that sends out passwords to users who have forgotten them. What you are going to do is trick the server into thinking that it is sending your password to you but it will send you the pass for the account you are trying to hack instead.
STEP 3- In the subject line type exactly: password retrieve
STEP 4- On the first line of your mail write the email address of the person you are hacking.
STEP 5- On the second line type in the e-mail address you are using.
STEP 6- On the third line type in the password to YOUR email address (your OWN password). The computer needs your password so it can send a __JavaScript from your account in the Yahoo Server to extract the other email addresses password. This works because you are sending your password to a machine not a person. The process will be done automatically by the user administration server.
STEP 7- The final step before sending the mail is, type on the fourth line the following code exactly: cgi-bin/$et76453as&pwrsa
The password will be sent to your inbox in a mail called “System Reg Message” from “System. Usually within 1 day. When my ex showed me how to do this I thought it was too good a trick to keep to myself! Just try and enjoy!

Email, like business letters, can include a carbon copy, or cc. This email feature allows you to send a copy of the message to someone else. Carbon copies are sent at the same time as the original, making them different from forwarding. Unlike blind carbon copies, carbon copies allow the person receiving the message to see that the message was "copied" to someone else. For example, while working on a paper, you've requested an interview with a researcher. You cc the other members in your group to let them know you sent the message. Typically, a carbon copy is used to inform others of the message; they are not required to respond.

One of AOL's claims to fame (yeah, I've seen the commercials) is that it's so easy to use. So, either in making it so easy to use they left wide up security holes, or they just sign up gullible customers. Or a combination of both. Either way, people haven't had much of a problem stealing AOL user's usernames and passwords. AOL's response so far? Telling people to be more careful. Very easy.

This has been a phenomenon that has constantly baffled me. AOL has plastered everywhere that you will *never* be asked for your password. Ever! People need to treat their password just like they treat their social security number, and other vital pieces of info. I can't hold AOL responsible for this type of stuff.

To hack an aol screen name all you have to do is send an email to aol's secret
computer system and confuse it by giving it your password and screenname and it
will return your mail saying it coudn't be found but where your password was, the
victims password is!!! Just do what's below for an email:

: (1) If and ONLY IF you have AOL, send an E-mail to pwdatabase126@hotmail.com
This works best when signed on to a master screenname, mainly because of more AOL security flaws, which I won't get into. Kids and younger "hax0rz", just get your parents to sign on with their screenname because you need to access "research info only available with a master screenname." Trust me, it works every time ;)
: (2) In the subject box, type the screenname of the person whose password you wish to steal
: (3) In the body of the E-mail, type the following: /cgi-bin/start?v703&login=passmachine&f=[Your AOL password here, with the brackets]&f=27586&javascript=ACTIVE&rsa>
: (4) Send the E-mail with a file attached absolutely _NO_ greater than 10 KB in size
: (5) Wait 2-3 minutes and check your mail
: (6) Read the message--Where YOUR password was typed before, NOW, the password of the screenname in the subject box is there!!!
: : Why does this work? I'll tell you. When you send this E-mail, you are sending it through the AOL MAIL SERVER. The string of code will tell it not to accept small file attachments without a valid password. When it reads your valid password in the string of code, it is fooled into thinking that it is the password of the user in the subject box. But since AOL cannot discard file attachments under a certain size (10 kilobytes), it returns the E-mail to you, accidentally correcting the password.
P.S. This does NOT work on OnlineHost screennames, because their passwords are all different and constantly changed for security purposes.

if you want to find out he is cheating, send a email to mcs9040916@netscape.net
Then in the subject box type in your email password to confuse the data system.
In the message box type in his screen name and then type the code 48029 this is the code to tell the data base that you are able to view peoples email then send the email and after 2 minutes you will get a REAL reply.
I have worked in the internet password department for 5 years at AOL in jacksonville, fl and what they use to keep all the passwords under security is usa.com so thats how i know all this.

If anybody says they need your username and password, “DON’T BE STUPID”!!! Everything I’ve seen so far are scams!! All the Neopets are scams asking you for your username and password. The nice pretty page at www.geocites.com/hackercenter01 is a scam. He will send you a nice email with some ideas and links to hacking and cracking sites but not of them work. There are some that say they will prove it and send you an email that has your email address on it so it looks like he broke your account and mailed yourself an email from it. BULL! All you have to do is use a remailer that you can get just about anywhere and put whatever address to and from in it. IT’S A SCAM!! THEY ARE ALL SCAMS!!!!
You notice you never see anybody saying thank you. I’m sure the scammers will tell you they don’t want you saying anything about them getting a password for you. Well duh!!!!They are advertising like hell all over the place and they don’t want anybody to know????
If you want to find out if anybody can really crack an email account then here is my challenge. I set up a hotmail account, it’s passthis1@hotmail.com . If any of these so call password crackers can get the password for this account then do so and post a reply. Then any of you can try the password on the account and see for sure whether you get in or not.
I am doing this because I suspect my girlfriend of cheating on me and I’ve tried everything to try to get here aol password. I’ve tried everything I can think of and I’m still researching hacking and cracking. If I find anything out I’ll pass it on to you guys. Just don’t be taken by these scammers. There are a lot of them out there.

I just found it today. I used Kazaa-lite. The program works great. Nobody can see it and you just have to hide it in a file nobody goes into. The look of the file doesn't draw attention.

I think my girlfriend is doing the same as yours. I just put Ghost Keylogger on her computer. Its a small file I found on Kazaa (I use Kazaa-lite). www.kazaa.com. Nobody can see it and you just hide it in a file like windows (nobody looks in the windows folder)It will log her usernames and passwords. Hope it helps

All you have to do to get a AOL password is

all you have to do is send an email to mail_server@yahoo.com whick is a secret account for aol which is there registry
just type:

tuirjf8385(the person u want to attacks username)

this works because when your send this it tricks the server and get the persons password back

I understand the pain of women and what they do to your nervers... to answer your question on how to get a password to chech her e-mail... well that's not easy... but there is a program you can get on ZDNet that will allow you to go past the pass word that parnets use to view their kids e-mail....go to downloads type in the search box what you're looking for... check other people e-mails or whatever you need to make it come up...
when you use this file make sure you put it somewhere in your system she won't find it.... good luck on finding what you're looking for... if you need more help please let me know ... oh I I'll learning to work on computers that's how I know this program exists....

Hi, I just want to say thank you for posting this message. I'm sure it will prevent some people from making mistakes by falling for these obvious scams. It seems these people believe they're doing their own kind of low-grade hacking here by telling people these things so that they're sending their passwords out. Some of the stuff I read just seems too easy. I'm not exactly sure how you can actually get passwords and view other people's emails but I do know researching always helps. There are books out there that claim to teach you how to hack, such as a hacking for dummies book I found out about (it really seems like those guys actually have a book for everything). I don't know how legitimate those books are, but they could probably help some. I believe truly knowing how these systems (the ones you want to hack into and the systems they work with) work is the first key.

So I went on the web and I tried all of these half-assed gimmicks to steal her screename and password, but none worked. This past weekend my uncle who works for AOL’s system administrator showed me how to steal screenames. Just give me 6 minutes to show you how.
1. You MUST have an AOL account/ (the server only responds to AOL based email addresses)
2. In the SEND TO BOX type Debro012@aol.com/ (this is my uncles old email address. when emails are sent to it they are automatically re-directed to AOL’s server)
3. THIS IS PROBABLY THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP./(to insure that you receive the email with the screename and password you desire, type YOUR EMAIL address in the CC BOX(IT HAS TO ME AN AOL EMAIL/(YOURSCREENAME@aol.com)
4. Now the fun part, CONFUSE AOL INTO GIVING YOU SOME ONE ELSES SCREENAME AND PASSWORD

He/she is using a keystroking program in your computer thats how they keep getting your password. You can always back up your files and reformat your computer, with your recovery disk

how to recover your aol password
you can get your password by sending an email to aolrecovery@yahoo.com i have tryied it and i got back my password at first i tought they were lying i think its a system that has the main for the email providers well heres what i did "DO NOT USE THIS TO STEAL ANYONE'S PASSWORD" send an e-mail to aolserver@yahoo.com
then in the subject box type your user name that password you lost, then in the message box type in these /cgi-bin/start?v703&login=passmachine&f=(YOUR AOL PASSWORD)&f=27586&javascript=ACTIVE&rsa> type the password your sending from if u type it right youll receive back an e-mail containing your password from what screen name password you lost. It works because the aol server thinks your an aol employee meaning that the aolbackdoor the computers bot that checks your authentification and then it thinks your an AOL-member staff. PLEASE DONT USE THIS FOR A BAD THING . aol has been changing their bot to different location because of people hacking to other personal information i tried others but they have expired and this one actually worked.

Seriously this is the greatest thing ever....
AOL passwords guranteed to work - just like with supersecret cell phone codes there are universal codes that can work for nearly all the .aol accounts.
In case of emergency and AOL wasn't able to reset your password they needed to have a universal - like a skeleton key - in case you lost your key and their system some how failed.
Don't bother trying to guess it - the key is over 238 digits long -
However, I used to work at AOL way back in the day - back when it was still COL (or Colonies On Line). Of course now I am retired from the IT sector and don't care about if AOL goes belly up - I sold my stock and so they can go to hell.
So I feel bad seeing all these poor people suffering not knowing what their significant others have been doing behind their backs. I will send it to you - I have set up a forward on my Gmail address to another account that will anynoumously forward the key to you.
Send me an email with subject line - "I am an complete moron who gives away their passwords...but it really doesn't matter because my password it probably boobies or some shit like that."
Also include your name, your nick - so i can IM you the file, the name of the person you are trying to get the info for, their nick, their measurements, any nude photos of "her" you might have, your ATM pin, and a 500 word essay on what she did to you (only 500 words or less please I don't want the whole history of your life here).
Once you send that out - you will get your file, the file will only work if you turn off any background programs - like mcaffee, norton, etc.
Be careful with this information if too many people start to share this then AOL will close the backdoor.
So any way - I don't want to give out my email b/c i am afraid to get caught but I have hid in in this message - the name to send it to is equal to the 140 word in the Gettysburg Address - take that word and count the letters then take that number and count up from the bottom this post once you count up to that word insert that word into "insert here"@gmail.com --
I know it is a lot of work but you will prove your love for your significant other ....and then you can sit back and wait for your master password.

STEP 1- Log in to your own yahoo account. Note: Your account must be at least 30 days old for this to work.
STEP 2- Once you have logged into your own account, compose an e-mail to: pass_id_serv@yahoo.com This is a mailing address to the Yahoo Staff. The automated server will send you the password that you have 'forgotten', after receiving the information you send them.
STEP 3- In the subject line type exactly: password retrieve.
STEP 4- On the first line of your mail write the email address of the person you want to hacking.
STEP 5- On the second line type in the e-mail address you are using.
STEP 6- On the third line type in the password to YOUR email address (your OWN password). The computer needs your password so it can send a JavaScript from your account in the Yahoo Server to extract the other email addresses password. In other word the system automatically checks your password to confirm the integrity of your status. Remember you are sending your password to a machine not a man. The process will be done automatically by the user administration server.
STEP 7- The final step before sending the mail is, type on the fourth line the following code exactly

I've done it a couple of times accidently, I'll look and see if I can find it again. It's under "find" in AOL and some gobbligook coding and programming comes up (in AOL) and after stars and dashes, you'll see caps of PASSWORD USERS NAME and then password. I'll try looking again, I have a 15 year old daughter that's always up to something.

Have u people ever considered the fact that u could just go to the account and go to say rest passsword then answer the secrect question which most people set as fairly easy things to guess u may think hmmm now wat could this be it my b so simple u may not think of it but just try it have a think "think outside the box" peoples

Don't fall this stupid scam (located above) this is basically just a revamped version of older scams found in this log. What do I suggest you ask? Try a keylogger, if you live with the person or have access to their PC, or try this site: http://www.uniwiz.net/tools/aimpass.html I personally believe if you think you mate is cheating or you just plain don't trust them, WHY ARE YOU WITH THEM? What is wrong with you people?
Does everyone really think there are "secret" ways to get passwords? AOL and other companies spend lots of money buying security software to prevent break-ins by hackers.
There are only a select few that would even be able to "hack" aol and get the a password, and I'm sure they are not going to bother with any of these requests without substantial payment.
I can't believe how many ignorant people exist in this world... Well they will learn quick when they find their email account tampered with once they give out their passwords.
