Um... yes? Because murder is bad? Even if their morals are warped doesn't mean they deserve to die.
I don't think their claim is similar at all. They may own the physical statue, but they don't own it's likeness. It's not like the photographer is physically stealing the statue when he makes a copy of it.
Augustana College copied that statue first, so of course they have the copyright! How dare that photographer butt in on their turf!?
Those floating turbines from the first article kinda remind me of the floating turbines in Big Hero 6...
hmm weird, might have blown over by now. But be careful is all I'm sayin.
Yo, stop it with the ignoratio elenchi, Richard. We get it, you think the Second Amendment was a bad idea. But your drawing the issue away from what the article meant to address, which are the deplorable actions of a rookie police officer and the unchecked power of police unions.
BTW be careful. According to the Torrentfreak article, the .cr piratebay domain is diverting people to a .ee domain and asking people for $4 to access torrents. Stay away.
According to Calvelage, regarding students texting during the unanounced drill, "they shouldn’t be using their cells in class in the first place."

I find it funny there's so many "former" NSA officials. It makes it seem like once everything went public their fun was over and they didn't want to deal with the consequences so they all bailed ship before they got in too much trouble.
oh wait... that's probably exactly what happened, isn't it?
Every time I see someone using IE, it makes me a little more dead inside...

AC misses the point of the article by a mile... sigh
Really? I thought that was only Trademark law. at least in the US.
I think all those stuff were in the public domain back then considering how old the concepts were, so he wouldn't have to really pay any one.
Wait, I thought the Threshold of Originality was just the law that made it so you can't just copyright simple text and geometric shapes? Is there some deeper part of the law I'm not aware of?
Actually JRR Tolkien wrote some Sherlock Holmes fanfiction.
Re: broadband
