It was well over a day that the banner was up warning of the blackout.
Has nothing to do with this article, just happened to be here when I was watching NBC nightly news. Opening of their story just called SOPA the stop online PRIVACY act. Haha.
I imagine it's something like taking to much acid, barely hanging onto reality.
My head hurts from reading the crazy shit pro SOPA people keep saying.
Ever seen Fox News? It's a network dedicated 24 hours a day to touting a political stance.
If anyone hasn't noticed you can easily get around Wikipedias blackout by stopping the pages from fully loading. Just thought I'd throw it out for those who still wanna use it today.
Blackout is live and can easily be gotten around by stopping the page from loading completely. Good news for those of us that already know SOPA sucks but still want access to Wikipedia.
Pirates internet isn't gonna change at all. Pirates are one of the few groups who are gonna barely be touched at all by this legislation.
I am very glad Wikipedia decided to join in. They will get far more attention than anyone else.
Idea sounds great unfortunately it seems like even if they do it it's not going to be a blackout at all. Just a page you go to first and then can continue on to the site. Better than nothing but I'd really like to see a full blackout not a page most people are barely gonna look at, think nothing of it and continue on.
Lamar Smith is hosting a dangerous rouge site that is a threat to American jobs and national security. Censor it now.
Lol, did you read the article or even correctly read the headline? You are the true buffoon.
You sure seem to be reading this site alot for someone who seems to hate the site so much.
How is this day and age people still don't get what free speech is beyond me. They used their right to free speech just fine and are now suffering the consequences.
I was just looking for somewhere to get a new mod chip. Thanks companies who hate modders.
Not only are these DRM schemes funnier and way more acceptable than traditional DRM. They also always last much longer because the crackers don't notice them until they release the game and people start playing it, making them have to go back and re-crack it. I have seen these types take weeks sometimes to get fully cracked while traditional draconian drm is almost always broken day 1.
Are you seriously trying to say an IP address is more accurate than DNA.
Video is on Megauploads front page for that that want to see it.
Lol, video blocked on copyright grounds.
Re: Re: Re: Replace the government
People in sparsely populated states have far to much a voice using the ridiculous electoral college. One person one vote, plain and simple, there is no need for the electoral college at all.
