So, if I'm in Indiana, and I want to walk up to a cop to ask a question, this farcical bill allows the cop to order me to step 25 feet away?
So much for Officer Friendly and asking cops for help without calling 911 or the non-emergency number. Surprised this isn't a thing in Texas, which is a consumer-hostile, citizen-hostile state if you're not a rich, old, white "Christian" male.
Vladimir Nabokov's Lolita would be considered child pr0n.
MAGAts are looking forward to book bonfires.
As far as I'm concerned, parents should parent and disallow their children from reading books they feel are unsuitable, not creepy organizations like Moms for Liberty. Liberty my derriere!
Someone was elected based on the false proposition that he is a successful business man... Successful only in that he was portrayed that way on a reality TV show.
Does Bezos believe MAGAts will actually start reading the Washington Post, or is he trying to get it ready to sell to Rupert Murdoch?
Either way, it's becoming a Reich wing rag.
Ever since John Legere left, Mike Sievert has been doing everything he can to re-Carrier the Un-carrier. I got tired of his games shortly after he started and left for an MVNO after having been with TMO for more than 20 years. Deutsche Telekom isn't likely to get rid of Sievert as long as TMUS is making money. It's too bad people are staying when better deals can be had elsewhere...
AT&T and Verizon's disastrous forays into media plays were akin to T-Mobile TV, although they cut the cord on that sooner than the other two did. Dish and DirectTV have been moribund for years.
Police departments, being paramilitary organizations, seem to attract power-hungry wannabes, gun nuts, pedophiles/rapists (as the Washington Post reported recently), and liars (e.g. Burge in Chicago, who was responsible for quite a few false convictions).
None of these things should be tolerated, any perpetrators should be denied immunity and (preferably) convicted.
Not going to hold my breath.
Data brokers are evil. They also gather and sell anything they can find out about you. I'd love to see a law like the GDPR here, but that may be impossible. Alternatively, I'd like to see these scourges wiped off the face of the earth.
If you have to call your group "x for liberty" or "something patriots", you do not stand for either liberty or patriotism. These words, like the American flag, have been hijacked or co-opted by the RepubliKKKan party.
Sounds like it's time to set up a "technology court" with judges like Posner and Alsop who are well-versed in matters involving computers, the Internet, etc.
every movie made is a sequel, prequel, or based on pre-existing content, any dream can be invented, including the accounting. Wait for the cheap show, folks.
No, make them wear tan suits.
Illegal to approach?

I don't heart
I don't heart iHeartRadio. It's enshittification personified.
What's next
All TSA agents will be trying to deport anybody who looks non-American as they go through the naked X-ray lines.
Maybe...
... It's time to send the Statue of Liberty back to France.
What would happen if books had age restrictions?

It's happened before
Steve Jobs was a victim of wellness.
Well...

WWJD?

Heaven forfend
As if T-Mobile under Mike Sievert isn't bad enough, them merging with Comcast would be even worse. Glad I ditched them for an MVNO a couple years ago.
Where have we seen this before

Sounds like some court needs to declare her a vexatious litigant.
Damn, makes me want to switch back to T-Mobile now...

Falafel or shawarma (but only if there's a "halal" sign on the truck somewhere). They're harder to handle than hot dogs.
