For some cord cutters (my household) it is probably way too late. We cut the cord probably 7 years ago. I don't really miss it. Every time we are staying somewhere that has cable TV and try to find something to watch we realize why we cut the cord in the first place. About the only way we will add pay TV to our internet is if my in-laws move in with us due to health reasons.
I was thinking the same thing. I got a little confused. I just looked at an article from the Denver Post today. Fort Collins passed this two years ago, but just okayed spending tax dollars to explore starting a city owned broadband provider.
These are the cities that voted to opt out of SB 152
I don't know how about people use their brain and see if a story stands up to the logic test. Look at where the story comes from. Also look and see what other stories the source publishes to see if they are pushing a particular agenda. By the way pretty much all news sources have an agenda.
I watched a little of the Olympics. We just watched the events that we liked. I swear some of the commentary was recorded after the event was over. I would be watching a swimming event and they would talk about the swimmer from some particular country and they would say how no one from that country has ever won a medal in swimming. They spent quite a bit of time talking about that swimmer. Then low and behold that swimmer won gold. Wow, they sure can predict the winner.
This happened multiple times. Too much, in my mind, to be a coincidence.
Cable companies worrying about continuing to be able to charge astronomical amounts for set top boxes. They need to worry about the thing that they keep denying is happening. Cord cutting!
I have never came across child porn in my life. Of course I do not try to even look are regular adult porn so that makes it a little more difficult and there has only been one time that I accidentally came across any type of porn and that was when a radio station's webmaster forgot to renew their domain. It got registered by a porn producer.
Quite a few years ago Joan Lunden (she was an anchor on one of the morning network news programs) divorced her husband. He was a stay at home dad raising their children. He sued for palimony and won big time. It was the first real big case of its kind.
I don't know when the last time I used the yellow pages to look up a numnber. All the phone books I have gotten in the past years have gone right into the recycling bin.
Techdirt has not posted any stories submitted by sean.

Tool no longer available
Looks like Directv may have taken the tool down. The address now auto-forwards to their main page.
Use your brain

Hated tape delay

Worrying about the wrong thing
Cable companies worrying about continuing to be able to charge astronomical amounts for set top boxes. They need to worry about the thing that they keep denying is happening. Cord cutting!
Easy as . . .
I have never came across child porn in my life. Of course I do not try to even look are regular adult porn so that makes it a little more difficult and there has only been one time that I accidentally came across any type of porn and that was when a radio station's webmaster forgot to renew their domain. Re: POLL: Americans' Confidence in Congress Falls to Lowest on Record
And yet we keep re-electing the same idiots to go back and screw things up even more.
Correlation != Causation
Well I have eaten a lot less meat since 9/11 and there has not been a terrorist attack near me so that must mean that I am doing something right.
Floored
Wow, actually something that I agree with Pres Obama on.
Legal Ponzi Scheme
Taking money that should be going to smaller artists and giving it to the big name artists kinda sounds like a legal ponzi scheme to me.

I would be more than happy to give them a little extra.

Laws making guns scarcer only affect law abiding citizens. Those that want to commit a crime requiring a gun will get one no matter what the laws are.
