    I wouldn't want to live in a country that was under a strict enough regime to achieve that. Would you propose the government instead spend a billion dollars a year on a department with that goal? with inflation is say 100 years you will be talking about trillionaires and there will be entire suburbs of billion dollar houses.

    Auto-generated slop is not actually real, which is the whole point. now if someone wants to gather 10,000 popsicles sticks and mail them in seperate envelopes with hand written slogans to a competition you have to admire there dedication, But buying/writing a script that send the exact same message with the exact same name is just lazy time wasting, 10,000 times should have no bigger influence then 1 person. the stadium has been brought our to show support and you see one guy waving and clapping and then the camera pans out and the entire stadium is empty its just this one guy who spent money. On the taxing the rich, ehh as long as they can move you won't see significant gains and tax rules should be written well ie not used fixed amounts that in 10 years rich=merely wealthy and 10 years after that is slightly above average salary.

    Re 2% hospitalisation

    I would wonder if someone is using some number from the 50's or perhaps every case since they started hospitalisation. in the 1950's they hospitalised around 1.6% of cases which seems suspiciously close to the 2% they are quoting, The only "thankful" thing is measles seems relatively stable its no flu or cold that with a small mutation can turn into a pandemic even in the vaccinated.

    While slavery was indeed all over. I presume you are talking about the Portuguese sailing down the coast of west Africa in the 15th century. But slavic slavery pre-dates that in Europe and there are indications that slavery internal to Africa pre-dates that, ie slavery down the nile to Egypt.

    Is that a lawful order in the cop definition of a lawful order or the actual definition. A lawful order has to follow the constitution and the law. A lawful order has to be clear. For example banging on a car is not a lawful order, what do they actually want to communicate?,conflicting and overlapping orders are not lawful as they are not clear.

    who will arrest them?, who will release them, without better legislation you can't even sue. Americans will eventually be released from where they have been disappeared. at some point they will be prosecuted for something and the 4th amendment will stand as a defence. when the democrats get in I am sure there will be some recriminations and prosecutions but its not like we just arrived in this current state under the current administration. Bivens was in 1971. There has never been a successful similar case but administration after administration has been happy with the state of affairs that the federal government could not be sued for federal officers actions or even state actors temporarily borrowed by the federal government.

    A Teenager can be 19, They can vote, they can drive,they can buy alcohol they used to? be drafted and sent off to wars. They might not be 21 but in every respect they are treated as an adult. Minor children are 12 and under, they should never be seen as having adult responsibility. Teenagers depending on age and state may have some adult responsibilities and rights.

    The line is more likely to be drawn over private property ie your home example. Private property which has a public accomodation ie churches. or public property which is where 99% of time is where you will see people running around with cameras. You do not want the government defining who is press or registering them, or are you suggesting Roskomnadzor is a good thing?

    Made up is presumably used as a synonym for exaggerate or perhaps present in the most favourable terms. I presume you don't want an exact example from a specific immigrant? But caught on film throwing your phone overboard would be something that I regard as an exaggeration, or perhaps going on holiday to visit the country you said you needed to leave because it was too dangerous to live there. But unless your response to asylum seekers is to just throw them in jail I don't see why you need to seperate the child and parent. They are not illegal until your bureaucracy have worked through the process, presumed innocent until proven guilty(cough)

    Perhaps parents of non blue children need to start having talks with their children. If your within 20 feet of a law enforcement officer do not drive off. do not carry on protests. do not be in the same room as something that could be perceived as a weapon when law enforcement invades your home, even(especially?) if you think they have no reason to invade your home. If your within 100 meters of a oak tree while law enforcement are present swiftly walk(do not run) to a safe distance. But always remember blue rights and officer safety trump your rights.

But some people make a big thing of that line of script saying that he is police and people should follow his orders. Is ice actually police?     I could see saying someone has trump derangement syndrome is alike to nazism but not the person who acts like it. Trump is cruel and a buffoon and I would not want him as my leader, but I wouldn't like Putin either and I don't have hate for either. Your typical Australian probably does not know anyone affected by trump, at most they probably read something on the internet. But even before trump was elected some Australians expressed a irrational hatred for trump based on "overly" empathetic feedback from the internet and the state run media.

    At age 4 when he got his green card? he could be forgiven for not retaining that memory. as a permanent resident of Australia It seem like I have always known I could not vote, I cant say a time I specifically learned I could not vote. I know I did some investigation 30 years ago on the first election because I knew I could not vote and I also knew it was compulsory to vote by law(for citizens) One would hope that when you first sign something that says I am allowed to do this you might ask, but I guess he did not or did not understand. I guess it was something I learnt in the civics classes at school. In australia, when you first became a permanent resident makes a difference for example as some one that came over in the 90's I am eligible for a medicare card if I had come over this century I would not be. But it's generally up to the government to keep track of that. If they change the rules, I would not be punished just because I applied for a new card.

    It is, that a citizen can vote and non-citizen can not. I don't think you can discuss what it should be? You can make a lot of hypothetical discussion but nothing would change. Generally worldwide both can own land, both can work, both pay taxes, both may receive benefits, both can attend education, both can work for the government,both == generally have the same laws and same punishments for breaking those laws. Generally a non-citizen can not get a passport but that is not exactly the same worldwide given some countries sell passports to non-citizens.

    When they are lying about some things, are they lying about all things? So if a information source is contary to what they are telling you it becomes believed because you know the first source is at least lying sometimes. For example, I posted something that has been published on Australian TV news. It was regarded a misinformation because it was I presume contrary to US media. So which information source is providing misinformation?

    This was always going to happen and will happen again. Age verification laws by default need to contain that you don't store all the data and make it illegal to store all the data they gain through the process of verifying all your data. In australia they are bringing in digital id's which will probably get connected to age verification. It will be hacked, it will be stolen the thought that every single piece of information that can be used to verify who I am will be stored in one place terrifies me. we already have a system online called myGov.au that is connected to social security and tax systems Guess what I get the most spam about. People pretending to be myGov.au to attempt to get my log in details.

Is your argument that a country that feels it can not reconcile with the us should go to war with the republican party? Hamas has been in control of Palestine since 2006. The inhabitants of Palestine have been holding and killing hostages for nearly 2 years. Are you contending that not one resident of Palestine but only Hamas is involved in this? Your comparison to the nazis would only hold up if in 1939 that Jews went into Berlin and killed 1000 plus people and took 240 hostage. They did not.

    Nintendo is probably not being hypocritical because the lawyers/bosses behind the lawsuit probably don't even know about pal land. But this is really a conflict between the copyright maximalists, everything belongs to us and the artists, who borrow, have inspiration, do stuff like people they like etc just like they have for centuries and have practical issues like there are so many good chords and if you have alleady written x for company z that when you right z for company y its really hard to make x and y not almost identical technically its not even a copyright issue because copyright does not cover it,so they are using patents.
