I remember a CSI:NY where one CSI guy was listening to a song on his earphones and when the other guy came up asked what he was listening to. Then there was a description that it was so and so's new album and that the music pumps him up. Clearly an ad but then I thought about it and I have probably had that conversation with my friends hundreds of times. So is the show becoming more realistic? /=}
I'm sorry, but as far as I am concerned you are a terrorist. To get your name cleared I will need to pat you down and test your fluids for explosive contents. =D
Nothing they say anymore matters.
You mean, Nothing else matters.
I'm sure Chopra showed Obama some nice scan porn during the trip. That must have converted him.
??? What? Assumption? I didn't see that anywhere. And Mike has written multiple times that the medium of information doesn't matter, it may or may not be true. So I don't get your beef here.
Secondly. How screwed up is Australia's legal system where the victim's family are tasked with suppressing the facts?
Okay, since you need to revert to name calling, I never said I don't believe in climate change. In fact, my post shows that I know it is happening...on a daily basis. And in 50 years it will have changed. Is this an emergency? Can humans even do anything to stop this minute change in temperature to prevent the end of world? Now that is the question. I think only an idiot could think that by spending trillions of dollars on 'remedies' we could actually affect the change. Wouldn't those trillions be more useful doing something that can be controlled, like...I don't know...feeding the hungry?
It once was global warming and is now climate change. It's easier to turn global cooling into the bogeyman when that cycle starts (if you have any idea of what these climate catastrophe prophets have descried for the last century). Why can't it be 75 degrees F all day, week, month, year, century? The climate changes 30-40 degrees F every freaking day! I think average temperature changing 1-2 degrees F in half a century won't be a problem.
My 3-year-old kid is terrified of dogs. Screaming will continue. My older boy is on the no-fly list (found out back when he was two). Must have the same name as somebody else. Secondary screening every time now. Is it a good idea to force small children, who are already in a strange place crowded with strange people, to separate from their parent? It is hard enough to do that at home.
Or a banana! Especially if you're a chick.
Ha! Ha! Ads...really?
No other countries want free speech as it violates human rights
This is one of the most basic natural human rights...the ability to open your mouth and make whatever noise you want. Now, there may be consequences for what you say but nobody can stop you from saying it in the first place...
And there can be a lot less translucence in the 'sensitive' areas...please! Well, at least for the fatties, hairies, STD afflicted, etc.
As was pointed out, FOX has more than the free OTA channel, actually quite a bit more.
By the time the lawsuit is over the fad will be over. My 1st grader (and subsequently his 3-year-old brother) love these things...well getting new ones. Silly Bandz sell for around $4 for 25, the off brands about $1.50 for the same size. They all break in about a weeks wear. Can you copyright packaging? Who has the copyright for a box? They must be rich!
On the upside, at least people realize they can't afford everything and are cutting cable subs instead of, you know, not paying mortgages/loans.
You would think that as the 'bastions of truth' these news organizations portend to be that they would allow their employees to use their freedom to attend/enjoy the rally. Sure, these are private corporations so they can make any rules they want but do they apply these same rules to all rallies/gatherings...I surely doubt it!
Sales of lead clothing skyrocket!
it reminds me of Bush Jr.
More like all politicians. Recall Obama's cabinet appointees having trouble paying their taxes? Did any of them get reamed?

You slanderer! =)
