  After 6 months they noticed a drop in illegal software searches because our targeted ad program worked... or the kids figured out how to get around your connecting the search to a specific person.

  This sounds suspiciously like the first step in a plan to first try and convince people not to use vpns, then the next step is to vilify them (only criminals and pedos need them) with the last step being to outlaw them.

  Working as an investigator for the IGs office is either the most frustrating job, or comes with the best under the table payments. It is absolutely useless as a department if no one is actually going to respond to the wrong doings that they point out.

  Until such a time happens that senator Blumenthals campaign donations require him to actually halfway know how the internet works, he will continue to push these harmful anti internet bills.

  Chalk the street around the tires. Put a line out from the center of the contact point and then one on the front and back edges of the front and back tires.

  That shouldn't be a search because they aren't infringing on a person's property to do that. They are in fact marking city property.

  So in other words. Keep your receipt in the event a hacker uses this Bluetooth method to make your tools stop working. Bring them back to Home Depot and demand a new set because the changes they made to the tools made it stop working.

  So, should we also pull down information about the Crusades? They did some pretty reprehensible things in their efforts to "return the holy lands" to the church. How about the Spanish Inquisition, or the Trail of Tears? Should we pull down everything about the horrible things people have done in the name of God and or country, because if we do that and try and pretend that everything in the past was all sweetness and light your going to have problems in the future.

  I actually do want this to get appealed all the way to the SCOTUS. That way when it gets shut down 8-1 (Clarence Thomes is being dumb right now) maybe other states will stop trying to pass such blatantly stupid and unconstitutional laws.

  You will note of course that I am not holding my breath in anticipation.

  Also, they usually work off a forensic copy of the data. So if they accidently trigger the nuke they can just make another copy of the original and keep going.
