My situation went backwards with this. My friends and I didn't want the "Extended, additional scenes" versions of the first three films. We just wanted the versions we saw when we were kids...in DVD format/quality. A few years ago Lucas claimed these versions were lost forever. I called bullshit on that and refused to purchase any of the DVD releases. Here we are and now our wait is over. So I'll purchase these 3 films but it will more than likely be the last thing I ever purchase from Lucas again. At any rate, the industry is screwed up but if people are dumb enough to keep purchasing all the different versions then that's the individual's fault for believing the "Last Time On Video Ever !!" label.
I know of at least two providers that will let you "buy out" your contract if you're in the last few months of it. They don't proactively offer this of course because they want the ETF to recoup their costs but you can get away with cancelling and just paying the remaining months off.
The average life of any handset is a little over a year so that's why most providers offer a discounted handset upgrade after a year of service. True, you have to extend your promise to stay with that carrier but nothing is truely free. Many customer's complain about the free phones they offer but if someone is offering me a free car, I'd expect an '89 Camry. If I want a 2006 Lexus, I'm willing to pay a little more. I also wouldn't trust the judgement of a sells rep at Wal-Mart.
Yeah, myspace was sold a while ago for an insane amount of money to News Corp. ( Fox; Rupert Murdoch ) I don't think Tom has anything to do with it anymore.
It is good for the few friends of mine that learned how to use email a year ago. They paste scripts into myspace and get to pretend they're awesome html designers or something. I've ran into people I haven't seen in over ten years there so it's not all bad. As for the adds, I'm in agreement about the annoying flashing ads but I've noticed that very few of them even load while using Mozilla.

What I'm wondering is that since SBC (AT&T) owns Cingular, the largest wireless provider in the U.S, does that mean the majority of American's wireless calls are being given to the NSA as well?
Re: Re: Boom
You just minimize the AOL window and open up Firefox. I've done it a million times. But regardless, parents need to be parents and teach their children what's right and wrong. AOL's software would have done nothing if those two had met at "Vampire Freaks on First & Main" instead of online.
