  You don't really seem to understand how any of this works, at all. First and foremost, with hundreds of millions of users that would make for an unreadable stream of content. Two, displaying chronologically isn't easy, straight forward, or somehow the default or lowest common denominator. These systems are distributed around the world and they certainly don't bring everything to north america the second it happens. These systems are also not some digital version of a tape where one entry is after the next one, so posting by time is an algorithm in itself. TL;DR: Your understanding is flawed and your conclusion is unworkable. 1/10.
