Sure there are industries within the internet but the internet itself is not one. So trying to give it laws to this extreme will only endanger the internet. it's not like cracking down on bars who sell beer to minors. It's not a database for you to collect information. Hackers can easily hack into gov't systems.
It'll never be competent functioning legislation ever!! I don't know why Tech Dirt doesn't get that. Maybe they should pay more attention to how politics works.
What I don't understand is why HBO won't sell their shows online. Why do I need a service provider? HBO would make a lot of money if you could just go their website click a show, episode, movie, etc buy it for a reasonable price and watch it online?
Its becoming more and more clearer that these industries have no clue on how to innovate their business models. They just can't. They don't want to and they dont' know how. Cowards.
They fail to understand what creativity is and how an open internet produces more creativity then that creates jobs, it enriches the culture and changes society. They are just incapable of having a real thinking process. They have no idea what they are doing.
For a real revolution. Any legislation that is passed is a lie effectively, it is always vague therefore it can't be forceable against the government. We are not going to fix jackshit by telling politicians and lobbyists what to do.
They don't care!
who cares when the vague corrupt law is on your side?
Re: Re: Yawn

How come businesses don't adapt their business models? Isn't that what business is suppose to do?!
Internet Legislation Will Never Be Just

They Won't Expect Us
If they become really visible in social media realms, they are gonna get their shit torn apart by all us users. lol
Re:
The only way to get HBO GO is if you already have HBO through your cable provider.
HBO's Website

Oligopoly righteous, Capitalism sin.

Maybe if Ellison cut some more trees down across from his mansion his view would be even more clearer and he would see that his case is dumb as fuck.

Re: Uugghhh
They will never get any messages from the people, ever again. They don't need us to have a functioning "government".
my representative won't reply to my messages!
he's scared of people!
I don't know why many of you still think the Supreme Court can produce justice.
It's time!
