  Is the author of this article under the impression that being a bigot is a protected class like sexual orientation is because if it isn't the whole premise of the piece falls apart.

  Mods getting a taste of their own medicine

  I'm 100% against what Huffman and co are doing but I do find it hilarious to watch the Mods deal with the same treatment a lot of them do to the users of their subs. I literally got perma banned with no warnings and no previous strikes from r/AITA for saying a human trafficker was acting kind of like a Karen and then when I asked why I was banned they literally tried to get me banned from all of Reddit. I appealed and got my Reddit account back because the ban was ridiculous.

  Misreading the data

  I've worked in an industry for 30 years that has gotten more more automated and I can tell you from experience it has cost jobs because it takes less people to produce more product with less knowledge so they also get paid less for the job so 1. less people employed and 2. paid less for the work. That's 100% what's going to happen to all industries that AI/automation take over. Even your quotes state that less skilled workers can do the job with AI do you honestly think the owner class is going to pay high wages for a job an unskilled worker can do.

  Defense against microsoft

  I wouldn't be shocked if they did make this exclusive to PS5 as a defense against Microsoft trying to gobble up every big game studio and making everything exclusive to xbox and pc even after they explicitly say they won't and then immediately do after the focus moves away from the merger.

  Anyone that think decentralized social networks are a good idea lives in a fantasy world. You know all the problems Twitter has around moderation and hate speech effecting the real world multiply that by at least 10 with a decentralized system that makes it impossible to moderate hate speech and propaganda.
