  • RFK Jr. Blames Malnutrition For Measles Outbreak’s Severe Illnesses And Deaths

    Rocky ( profile ), 13 Mar, 2025 @ 01:45pm

And it isn't like we scientifically know that many types of virus infections can have long-term and lingering effects on your health or other infections. This means that the very few number of actual verified incidents of vaccine harm is dwarfed by the many magnitudes larger number of actual deaths and serious health-problems from an easily avoided virus infection. Sure, a healthy person have a higher likelihood of fighting off a virus-infection without any serious health consequences but the chance of the latter is still not zero, and that means being vaccinated is the smart choice for many reasons - like avoiding cosplaying as Typhoid Mary while putting your own life and health in jeopardy.

  • RFK Jr. Blames Malnutrition For Measles Outbreak’s Severe Illnesses And Deaths

One person died directly of having measles, how many do you think have died from health problems caused by measles later on? How many do you think suffer from permanent health problems that in the end will most likely shorten their life? Or how many became infertile? The number one here hides a lot of collateral damage not being reported, statistics tell us that about 30% of those who have been infected later get health problems directly attributed to it.

I wonder what happened to that $400 million federal contract to buy armored Teslas (Cybertrucks?). Last I heard they were scrambling to deny any wrongdoings and it was all a misconception, all the while busily removing any references to Tesla. Time will tell I guess.

"Eco terrorism"?!? Why are you using words you don't actually understand Koby? Do you think you sound smarter and more believable? You can't just string a bunch of right-wing buzzwords together thinking it means something, because it never does. You have publicly declared your stupidity and willingness to excuse the inexcusable so why don't you just fuck off with your lies and drug-induced fantasies. You can come back when you are start behaving like a rational adult that can say something fact-based instead of the childishly snowflake and butthurt diatribe that has been your usual fare for the last years.

  • Trump’s Latest Weapon Against Critics: Destroying Their Lawyers

    Rocky ( profile ), 11 Mar, 2025 @ 12:45pm

What's funny here is that you don't actually know the origin of said dossier or you have conveniently excised that knowledge from your brain, just like do with a lot of other knowledge that directly conflicts with any of your arguments de jour. It was originally commissioned by The Washington Free Beacon who didn't want a republican presidential candidate (Trump) with a lot of skeletons showing up during a campaign. So no, it wasn't funded by Hillary Clinton but I guess truth and facts is something you don't care about anymore since you find it easier to lie stupidly expecting everyone to believe you. This may shock you, but people are actually far smarter that you are so you can take your transparent lies and show them.

It appears you now lack all capacity for critical thinking and original thought since you buy into obvious bullshit the whole time without hesitation. The thing about audits is that you are actually supposed to do the audits, which is something that hasn't actually happened. Welcome to the net-negative of the world Koby.

  • Study: Popular Low-Income Broadband Program Killed By Trumplicans Saved Taxpayers More Money Than It Cost

    Rocky ( profile ), 07 Mar, 2025 @ 09:01am

Free stuff is always popular with the recipients.
It's not free, problems with your reading comprehension?
That’s not a good measure. A much better question would ask how popular is it with the folks paying for it.
It's more popular to pay less for something you normally can't afford, especially for something a household absolutely need in todays society.
Those same downstream advantages are enjoyed by ANYONE who pays for their own internet service. It turns out that most utilities are indeed very useful. Water delivered through a pipe is quite a time and energy savings compared to walking down to the river to scoop up some water with a bucket and then carrying it back.
Are you really suggesting that if the government subsidize intern for low income areas to the tune of $7-8 billion and get a return of around $29 billion it shouldn't do it because anyone can enjoy utilities? Seriously?
That someone saves time and money from a utility is never in question.
And if they can't afford it, they can't function well in society and becomes a net negative for the government. This is basic national economy, make sure your citizens are productive even if you have to subsidize some things because the return of that is many times more than you put in.
The recipients should work full time and pay for their own utilities themselves.
Said by someone who aren't actually paying full price for all their utilities since some of them are federally subsidized. Buy go ahead, make sure you are paying exactly what everything actually costs without government subsidies and I'll make sure to chip in a couple dollars for a hot meal when you become homeless. Do you actually grasp factual reality Koby or are you as vacuous as you sound?

I guess you are the one pretending here because how can you "agree" with something I never said or alluded to. It seems the only thing you are good for is complaining on the internet that other people aren't doing something instead of doing something productive yourself. So, what are you going to do? Impotently complain some more?

There are only accusations in this piece. no data. Please, if you are going to make accusations, back it up with a link, or an example. Hence it is a blatantly political piece.
You are kind of woefully uninformed, I guess this is your first time here and you couldn't be bothered to look up prior articles that could have informed you.
We know for a fact that the FBI and CIA worked with companies like Facebook, Google and Twitter to limit, curb, or crush free speech. It is documented and it was the Joe Biden Administration that did it.
You decry the lack of facts, then you argue that "we know for a fact" without supplying said fact. If "we know for a fact" you should have no problem supplying it, right? And in regards to actual facts, are you familiar with SCOTUS? Somehow they came to the conclusion that this didn't happen in Murthy v Missouri. And to use your own words for what you wrote: There are only accusations in this piece. no data. Please, if you are going to make accusations, back it up with a link, or an example. Hence it is a blatantly political piece.

  • Musk Fires The People Actually Doing What DOGE Pretends To Do

    Rocky ( profile ), 03 Mar, 2025 @ 01:32pm

We know this for a fact because the useless inspectors general couldn’t account for the line items
    So, where are these facts?
No, and neither did anyone else, which was a big problem. Previously, the departments held the money hostage, claiming that $1 mil of useful spending was occurring amongst $10 mil of mystery spending, but noone can determine where, so therefore the program ought not get cut.
Funny how you know so much without providing any facts.
Only by actually cutting the program and forcing those legitimate programs to step forward with the proper accounting documentation could the money be tracked and restored.
Spoken like someone who has no clue how accounting and financial transactions work. Do you actually believe all the shit you consume from the brain-rot media and Musk's drug-induced tweets? I've remarked on it before that you seem to get stupider and stupider as time passes, and every time you come here and write something you prove it true.

  • Funniest/Most Insightful Comments Of The Week At Techdirt

    Rocky ( profile ), 02 Mar, 2025 @ 02:46pm

Think of it this way: Why do rich countries attract people from poor countries? Is it better to spend a lot of money trying to get a deal with immigrants in your country or trying to combat poverty elsewhere? You still need to spend money somewhere, and it seems to me that it's better to spend it on the root cause. This goes for almost any type of government organization that deal with different problems that arise in society. For example if you invest in social security, better education system and healthcare; you'll get let less crime due to a lot of people not being desperate and feeling like 3rd class citizens without any real future hope.

  • Massachusetts Judge Dismisses Auto Industry Lawsuit Over State’s Popular ‘Right To Repair’ Reforms

    Rocky ( profile ), 28 Feb, 2025 @ 12:41pm

    You’re confusing security and privacy.
It's you who are confusing security with reliability. Modifying or repairing your own vehicle may compromise it's reliability which in turn may affect how safe it is to drive - which is what I guess you meant. Security-wise, a DIY'er may end up making a vehicle easier to steal etc although the car industry has been pretty bad at security in general since they have mostly focused on locking down the systems in a car so neither you or an independent shop can repair it without shelling out exorbitant sums of money to the manufacturer for parts and tools.

Why don't you fuck off with your defense of the inexcusable, I'm sure you can find likeminded people who abhor reality somewhere else. And that strawman you just regurgitated, it stinks. And if you really want to see an enemy of democracy, look no further than your mirror.
