    Organization

There are no terrorist organizations. They just seem organized when we compare them to the FBI and (zeig heil) Homeland Security.

That mark you call a triple period is called an elipse and it's acceptable in this particular situation. Nice try.

    Standing in line ...

I swore long ago that the day would come when I would piss on Zango's grave. Now the day is come I find I don't have the energy... and I have decided it's not worth standing in line for hours anyway. www.newworldessays.com

  • Fair Use, Turnitin, And… Why Google Never Should Have Caved On Book Scanning

    Charlie Potatoes ( profile ), 20 Apr, 2009 @ 02:39pm

    fair use my ass

I have a site at www.newworldessays.com and write 'sample' dissertations for students, so they can see the proper way to cite and format their own work. turnitin.com has dozens, if not hundreds, of my works (I retain copyright) in their program and are charging for their service. Irrespective of what anyone thinks about what I do, I fail to see how using my work to make them a profit can be considered fair use of my work. Further, there is the extortion factor, when professors threaten students with expulsion should they refuse to sign a consent form to allow their works to be put into a computer data base. Let the professor get off his lazy ass and check references himself. My papers are not plagiarized so there is never an issue, it's simply the principle of the matter. I resent that they have a 'right' to hold my works in their base for as long as they wish.

  • Illinois Sheriff Sues Craigslist For Prostitution; Apparently Unaware Of The Law

    Follow the money

Who profits when a politician grand stands? ... and this is certainly the case of a politician grand standing. Remember that all the slimy bastards wrap themselves in the American flag and motherhood, and circle the wagons to protect the children each election year. I wager the high sheriff has a challenger somewhere in the offing ... Or else he is planning a Senatorial run sometime in the near future.

    stupid bastards

Just how long are we going to put up with these stupid bastards and their draconian ideas? I personally will just ignore the sons of bitches. If enough people just ignored stupidity they might finally get the point. How about a 'stupid bastard tax' and anyone suggesting ridiculous crap like this gets to pay it?

  • University Report On Dealing With Plagiarism… Plagiarized!

    Charlie Potatoes ( profile ), 17 Feb, 2009 @ 12:38am

    Turnitin

I write essays, theses, and dissertations for the well-heeled under-achievers on our university campuses. The paper I write is licensed to my customers with me retaining copyright. When their reader or professor runs that paper through a program such as turnitin, the website keeps a copy of my work in their database, to compare other papers against. They profit from my work, and refuse to compensate me. The professors are a party to this action. I think the professors and university readers should sweep around their own back door and check up on what constitutes fair use of a student's paper. www.NewWorldEssays.com

  • Dutch Kids Convicted For Stealing Virtual Magic Amulet

details not so scarce if you look for them....

The boys were sentenced to community service of 200 and 160 hours for kicking and hitting their victim and threatening him with a knife until he transferred a virtual amulet and mask to them while playing Runescape......

This seems to put a different spin on the crime . Maybe you guys should try Google before you write an article with 'scarce' facts.... but thats just my opinion, I could be wrong.

  • RIAA May Get Its Wish: Pandora Leaning Towards Shutting Down Over Webcasting Royalties

    Boycott?

Ok, not to offend music lovers, but we aren't talking about food or shelter, our car, or even gasoline for it. Music is hardly a basic necessity of life. Why not just go for a month or even six months without buying one single tune?...nothing. Surely the buying public can make it rain longer than RIAA can tread water. To hell with someone who screws me. I simply don't do business with them. Can't we give up new tunes for a very short period of time? All this whining seems a little juvenile to me. I mean we ain't talking bout the Sex or Beer industry. Just screw em... Stop buying their overpriced product...and stop writing about it. damn.
