    WI FI Radio is the best

    Thousands of stations from all over the World and no subscription fee. I have had it with commercial radio a long time ago. To be completly honest though this is not scientific but anecdotal as a prime example I have timed with a chess clock WLS talk radio in Chicago a few times over the period of an hour. Here are my results. 17-22 minutes of commercials, bumpers, and promos per hour. Throw in 5 minutes of stale news per hour and whats left to listen to? The only advantage to this is if you are having trouble falling asleep I highly recomend this format. Its like the old story. Once you peel a banana and throw away the bone what have you got left?

    Here is another example of to what lengths our Political Class will go to satisfy their complaining constuants to get re-elected. I have watched plenty of hearings on this technology. I don't believe anyone on these commities remember what it was like to be a kid. To be quite honest Senator Joe Lieberman who is always professing to be one of the greatest defenders of children and is one of the most vocal on this matter probably showers and sleeps in a suit.

    Isn't that why we elect our Government?

    To steal our money. I'm not a Lawyer but I would bet if one could make a good case that this practice caused at least one serious injury to a person or persons and the initial reason for this traffic light was not safety but as a money maker. One hefty personal injury law suit against the city that was won in court and cost the citizens of that city a lot of money would go a long way to ending this legaly sanctioned criminal practice by our Government would soon come to a thank full end.

    Decades ago I managed a store specializing custom manufactured neck ties. One day a fellow walked in and opened a tie box. He said look at this tie. My wife, my kids, and all my friends hate it. It was really a beautifull tie. I told him this. I then said your wife, your kids, and all your friends are wrong. He smiled and said thanks. I really like the tie too. He packed up the tie and left. Sure I could have agreed with all his detractors and sold him a different tie. The fact is I told him the truth and he felt good. By the way he became a repeat customer. Many of these people who run these large companys when they were kids never payed attention to their mothers. The Gooose That Layed the Golden Egg.

    BEST PRACTICES PHOEY!

    OK so I am an old codger with only about five years computer experience. I did spend decades in business. I have worked with and for some great people. I have also worked with some really lazy,careless and thought less individuals who couldn't care less. Though I consider myself pretty much of a computer dope I have learned enough over the years about technology how to get the right answers to technology security potential problems. I know its tough to keep up on as technology is in a constant state of flux however I believe company's should do everything within their power to avoid any possible compromise. If they do not they should be heavyly fined and be forced to make restitution to any injured partys. I am sorry to say that I believe that this is the only way to get the attention of the people who some of whom couldn't figure out how to pour water out of a boot if you told them that the instructions were written on the heel and really don't care about anything but their pay checks.

    For me this Company is just another of series of tedious adds. It did start me thinking just how much gold do people have laying around anyway? Hey Jimmy how many times have I told you to pick up your bycycle and all that old gold in the driveway? Every night when I come home from work I keep triping over all that stuff.

    of this sort of thing. People are really angry and they are getting a lot more upset. I believe society in the US which in the best of times is one of the most violent society's on Earth is going to get a lot more violent. People will start making company's pay whether its justified or not.

    Don't these people have anything better to do than constantly pandering to their constitutants. I have listened to a lot of these Congresional Hearings. These people have no idea what they are talking about. The only reason that they talk about things like this is because they figure it will pick them up some votes in the next election.

    When a Company is as Non-Responsive as Valve

    it is no supprise if someone is good enough to figure out how to priate their stuff it happens. These are not just under served customers. These are customers who are just fed up trying to communicate with these people or collecting a refund. You can e-mail this company all day and never get a response.

    Well I'm not worried because I know Congress will hold endless hearings on the subject and if these great problem solvers can't get a fix for this shocking behavior I just don't know who can. I can hardly wait to see the rightess indignation on the faces of people like Joe Lieberman brooding and demanding that we must do something about this. I know, they will appoint a Blue Ribbon Commission to write a report on the subject. I certainly can't think of a better way to spend our tax dollars than this. The only thing that worries me is I hope that there is enough room on a dusty old shelf in that room where they send all these reports never to be seen again.

    About seven years ago I was visiting my dieing father in the hospital. It's funny the things that one speaks about at a moment like this. For many years he was a Stock Broker by trade and a very conservative invester. I asked him if he ever bought any Enron stock for either himself or his clients. He told me that he did not. I asked him why? He explained to me that as hard as he tried that he just could't understand their financial statements.

    A THOUSAND BUCKS A YEAR TO WATCH TV! HAVE WE ALL GONE NUTS?

    First I would like to say that I don't want to watch television on my computers even though one has a 24in. monitor and the other one has a 28in. monitor. For a basic package I pay 21 dollars a month. I had all the permium packages up until a couple of months ago. 984 dollars a year. I cancelled them all. I'm not interested in most of the fare. The things that I am interested in quickly turn into endless reruns immediatly. I don't mean next week or a month from now but immediatly. How about Clogg Dancing from Holland. Spanish speaking Stations and an endless supply of Religious Programing and lets not forget about all those facinating Infomercials. Im no green kid who just came down the pike. I understand that the Cable Company's will incur additional expenses if they give us ala cart but I believe it can be done economically. Its time that we stopped accepting all the excusses from these Company's. Folks enough is enough.

    Once again we see another example of people who never paid attention to old stories as they were growing up. A guy gets on a bus. He spits on the floor. A copper sees him and writes him a ticket for two dollars. He goes to his lawyer and asks him what he should do. The lawyer says pay the two dollars. He says he won't do it and orders the lawyer to appeal. He looses all his appeals and winds up at the Supreme Court after years of aggrivation and expense. The Supreme Court gives him the death penalty. EA games should just pay the two dollars. Some people never learn.

    DATA LOST BY ANOTHER COMPANY!

    I believe that its clear how little respect that so many company's have for there customers today. I also believe how little respect the our government has for the American people not to mention other citzens around the world to let this to keep going on. I think that we should start throwing these bums who run these company's in jail for not preventing the preventable. It's clear to me that this is the only way to solve this and other problems like this in business.

    Not a bad idea but out of nowhere this just gave me an idea. Why not have a site where you could just build your own friend. If you get tired of your creation all you would have to do is change it. The site could also analyze how you are changing or have changed over time and why.

    Could I Wind Up On America's 10 Most Wanted List

    Years ago Com-Ed a well known Energy Company had a subscription service. When you paid your bill for a small additional fee you could purchase four additional light bulbs a month. I normally burn out about two bulbs a year. Well Jeez. I have three whole kitchen cabinets filled the the dam things. I mean that I have enough light bulbs to take me almost clear through the third millinium. Now what do I do?

    It doesn't supprise me a bit that EA GAMES took so long to respond. In fact I am supprised that they responded at all. This may be the most aloof company that I have ever tried to communicate with. Good luck reaching these people about anything. In almost forty years I spent in sales and customer service on my worst days I never treated any customers as poorly as this company, if they bother to respond at all which is extreamly unlikly.

    High fares, lousey service, All the Airline Company's are losing money hand over fist. Maybe its time all the CEO's of these company's should just get together and hold a news conference together. On a specific date we are flying all our planes out to the desert and just parking them. If this doesn't get all our elected Windbags in Wahington to do something productive I really don't know what will.

    EVER NOTICE HOW THE BIGGEST MORALISTS

    in Congress seem to wind up in the biggest sexual scandals. I'm waiting to see a study on this. I mean these people really have plenty of other important things to do than concentrate their time on this. I will propose a few modest examples. They could spend a lot more time renaming post offices,or perhaps spending more time celebrating the winning seasons of High School Sports Coachs,voting on important issues like National Water Mellon Day. How about this, more three hour eulogy's for dead Congressman. Come on Folks spend more time on issuse that are really important to the American People like these and we will all be a lot better off.
