    I get that, If i were you I would feel the same way. But if your truly interested, do some research. I've read several studies on both sides, and in my honest opinion, the cameras are just not worth the risk to public safety. Now... more cops on the streets would be another matter altogether....

    Funny thing is, it decreased the violations so well that they are taking down the cameras. They are not making enough money to keep them. All it took was extending the yellow 1 sec!!!

    Georgia house Bill 77 extended the yellow light length by 1 sec, and as a result, decreased violations by 80 percent. Decreased violations = less people running red lights = safer roads...

    Georgia house Bill 77 extended the yellow light length by 1 sec, and decreased violations by 80 percent. It also allows the owner of the vehicle to contest the ticket in a formal hearing.

    Guess what happened next? The cities started taking down the cameras. Even our politicians were admitting it was all about the money.

    The US Government picks and chooses what laws/treaty's it wants to follow, depending on what suits them best at the time. The American people do basically the same thing, which is why the law won't work in the first place.

    No worries, the illegal ones will always exist, they don't have to play by the rules. The ones that will get hit are the highly competitive ones that are perfectly legal. Competing companies will use this as a weapon to destroy each other, or the government will use this as a weapon to force the legal companies to censor their content.

    By inspecting it at check in and tagging it unloaded, just like they are supposed to do?

    Yes, they have to declare it, and yes the guy checking in the bag should be making sure it's unloaded, or if they can't, finding an agent that can. That's why i said "visual verification from a qualified TSA or airline representative"

    The flier is indeed an idiot and should be held accountable, but they weapons should have never made it onto the luggage cart loaded as it was.

    I think just taking the weapon owners word that a firearm is unloaded without a visual verification from a qualified TSA or airline representative is a HUGE failure in security.

    I disagree, I think they share guilt. Yes the weapon should have been unloaded, but shouldn't the airline be responsible for verifying that the weapon was unloaded before loading it on a passenger airplane?

    If the airline is not verifying if a weapon is loaded/unloaded before putting it on an airplane, they have no business fondling my banana hammock before putting me on an airplane....

    It's kind of sad how these legal predators can build a shell company/corporation to shield them from personal loss, where the average person is held personally responsible for his/her actions.

    I hope if this company folds up shop, that the judge goes after the lawyers personally. If the people they are extorting don't get the option of an easy out, neither should they.

    I don't get how big content thinks that they can legislate the cat back into the bag. Short of completely shutting down the internet, there is no way from keeping information from someone. Look at China, they probably have the most censorship of any country, but you can still get anything you want.

    Every time IP creates a new mole, it gets whacked. Sure, they can slow it down, or cause it to re route, but when they do, the big rock is now many small ones and harder to find....
