    This is going to turn into a fail pile unlike anything the world has witnessed before. Millions of man hours, thousands of posts and blogs, hundreds of news paper stories, and countless jobs heading overseas later.... they may finally realize that they were routed around even before they were done wasting money. But were not done yet... lets tie it up in the courts for years and years, even after it's become obsolete... what a waste.

    What are they thinking? I mean really.... are the AA's and groups like them really this stupid? At this point, the amount of money being wasted trying to combat piracy has got to be more than any result they could realistically achieve...

    I just don't understand how people can be this stupid... what makes it worse...how can the idiots that give these groups money not see it's a complete and total waste?? They may as well just host TPB on their corporate servers... at least they could sell adds or something and make a little money or something instead of just pissing it away ....

    If you use the AA's math. You have just single-handedly cause the collapse of civilization as we know it. Because of you, a kitten has just died, and a baby seal was clubbed. Your upload has been downloaded by at least a million people, and at $150,000 a pop.. that's.... that's... well its a fucking lot OK! Were going to wrap you up in the legal system for 20 years, take every penny you fucking have, and burn your picture at PRO-IP rallies for decades... friggin freeloading pirate!

    I thought "piracy" was about legacy business models that were not being adapted to current market conditions, and as a result, consumers were finding their own ways to fill their demands...... and this whole time it's actually been about a handful of add dollars being generated by sites that don't actually host any copyright material...

    Come on.... really? How many times do we have to do this? There are hundreds of different kinds of ripping soft wares. There are thousands of types of hacking tools... its already illegal to download the stuff in the first place.. no one pays attention to the laws that exist now, much less new ones...

    Have you ever considered that perhaps the correct solution doesn't include the legal system or the government? Perhaps instead of using the law to beat the customers into submission, they make their own offerings so attractive as to render the pirate offerings obsolete? Then at least, once the pirate threat is gone, your not left with the restrictions you helped create, and can conduct business without a bunch of artificial road blocks....

    Just an idea...
