Heard of Blue tooth?

from the linking-the-world-by-radio dept

For most tech-heads blue tooth is old news but I’m sure a lot of you out there may have either not heard of it or know very little about it. Blue tooth is a type of radio technology developed by a consortium of multi-national companies that allows data devices to “talk” to each other through radio transmissions (potentially eliminating the need for cables to link these devices up). This could mean your palm computer could comunicate with your desktop smoothly and effortlessly (of course other such convienent transfers of information would be possible with this technology).
