Gator.com Claims They're the First

from the truth-in-advertising dept

A new product from Gator.com claims that it is the first "smart" online companion. It appears to be a desktop application that stores all the standard info you use when registering online for things or when buying e-commerce products. To me, this looks fairly similar to e-wallet, the Idealab company that recently was folded in to Pointcast. I'm getting sick of all these internet companies who claim they are "first" or "only" when it just isn't the case.
