Pornster Seeks To Legitimize P2P With Porn

from the why-is-always-porn-leading-the-way? dept

Once again, it appears that it may be porn leading the way through the next technology revolution. Following the recent announcement that a porn company wants to buy the assets of Napster, now a different company is releasing Pornster, which is supposed to be a controlled P2P system for porn. They’re setting it up so that only “licensed” material can be added to the system, and then they can track how many times a particular file is accessed. Something like this actually would make a lot more sense for the music industry as well, but instead they’re keep trying their awful subscription download programs.
