New Yorker May Finally Go Online
from the will-it-ever-get-there? dept
The New Yorker held out going online for as long as possible. But, now it appears they may finally appear on the web. The article talks of some internal politics concerning the planned rollout. Apparenly, a few days ago, they had pushed the rollout back another six months or so, but after some internal discussions they’re now planning for February again. I don’t understand what’s causing all the problems. You would think, by now, it’s not that hard to figure out how to set up a magazine website.

Because of An Overwhelming Absence of Demand
Sad to see the staid New Yorker rambunctiously rushing into this internet thingee before it’s good and ready.
I guess they just lost their heads.
