Out of curiosity, what is the use case for Java/Oracle/Maven in 2022?

The last time I developed with Java/Oracle was around 2006. I’m sure there must be use cases beyond maintaining legacy systems, but I sure don’t know what they are. There are better cross platform development solutions today, and better SQL and structure-agnostic data management systems available today, that scale significantly better than Oracle products.
