DailyDirt: Edible & Gross
from the urls-we-dig-up dept
There are a lot of things that people don’t normally consider food, but that get eaten anyway. Sometimes these strange dishes are called delicacies. But sometimes these products are simply weird. Here are just a few examples.
- There’s a Paula Deen?branded, butter-flavored lip balm on the market. With the slogan: “Put a little South on your mouth.” [url]
- A pub in New Zealand has started serving apple-flavored horse semen in 30ml shot glasses. The DNA test to verify it really is what they say it is… probably costs extra. (Or this is a total prank.) [url]
- Imagine a fragrance that you eat — so that it will be released through your skin pores all day. The fabulous scent of garlic might be Mother Nature’s prototype for this idea… [url]
- To discover more food-related links, check out what’s floating around in StumbleUpon. [url]
By the way, StumbleUpon can also recommend some good Techdirt articles, too.

Perfect to wash down those Rocky Mountain oysters!
Re: Re:
That is about thirty shots a shot.
Almost as bad as semen flavored apple juice.
How about butter flavored coochie jelly for when your mouth goes south.
I feel inclined to flag my own comment.

I can’t see how this would sell. The girls in the farm videos don’t even want to swallow it…
