Don't Stop Playing. Order Food Directly From EverCrack

from the you-will-never-stop-playing dept

They don’t call the game EverQuest “EverCrack” for nothing. It is apparently quite difficult to pull yourself away from the screen. And, because the folks at Sony are… um… so concerned that their gamers are so addicted that they might not eat, Greg lets us know that “you can now order pizza inside EverQuest II. This is a very simple first try at connecting in-game and out-of-game markets. I’d expect to see a lot more sophisticated versions of this in the future.” Apparently, Sony doesn’t want their game payers… I mean… players dropping dead of hunger. However, Greg’s right. Expect many more attempts to incorporate outside world commerce directly into virtual worlds.
