WiFi Gaming To Overtake Ringtones? Seriously?

Did you know that the WiFi gaming market will surpass the ringtone market in 2005? Yes, the “WiFi” gaming market. Is there really a “WiFi gaming market” right now? Of course, once you read the rest of the article, you realize they’re not talking about WiFi gaming at all, but basic mobile gaming using phones and devices. It suggests whoever wrote up the article claiming it’s the WiFi gaming market (a) didn’t actually read what was being written about, or (b) didn’t quite understand what it was about. People do make mistakes, but the ease with which people throw around terms like WiFi and WiMax without having any idea what they are is problematic for the entire industry. It leads to incorrect expectations and confusion over what’s actually available.
