Would You Pay For WiFi Speed?

A WiFi cloud WISP in Oregon is apparently offering tiered WiFi access based on speed. If you accept pokey dialup speeds (56k), you can get on the network for free. However, if you want to bump up service, monthly fees kick in — and some of them are quite high. $95/month for 1 Mbps? Of course 512 kbps is only $45, so if you could just figure out how to get two of those 512 accounts in tandem you could be scoring that same speed at a $5 discount… Seems a bit on the pricey side, either way.
