Bluetooth Says I've Fallen And I Can't Get Up…

Both Gizmodo and Engadget (can you tell the difference in a bland taste test? neither can we, so we’ll link to both on this one) have stories about a Bluetooth enabled shirt, designed with sensors to detect if the wearer has fallen, and uses a Bluetooth connection to a (hopefully close enough) nearby phone or PC to then call for help. The next evolution? The personal airbag. The sensors will note if the person is falling and set off personal airbags to protect them. Think of all the fun mishaps that can be had…
