SMS Novel To Become MMS Movie

Not so long ago, there was a bit of a press frenzy over a novel that was being delivered via SMS text messaging in China. Well, to build off of that hype, a company has now bought the film rights to the story, and yes, they will be filming it in short segments which can be sent to mobile phones as well. While I do think mobile video content should be focused on shorter bits of content, given that the people viewing it are likely to be on the go and/or interrupted more frequently, I wonder how well you can hold the plot line of a movie that’s broken into so many pieces.
