Malaysian Muslims Cannot Participate In Text-Message Games

In a recent ruling by Malaysian Muftis (religious leaders), Muslims in the South-East Asian peninsula will be in violation of Sharia law if they participate in SMS contests. The contests involve an SMS fee, and offer a chance at a price, and are thus ruled a form of gambling, which is forbidden by Sharia law.
