The WiFi Situation In China
There have been plenty of stories about the different WiFi situations in different countries, but other than the whole WAPI mess, there hasn’t been a whole lot about WiFi in China. Over at Poynter Online, Fons Tuinstra, writes about the WiFi situation in China, where it’s apparently quite difficult to find a free hotspot, or one that you can easily access. This, of course, might be by design, but it could also slow down the adoption of WiFi (which, again, could be by design).
