Carriers Discovering Moblogs

There isn’t much new in this News.com article about how carriers are discovering the whole moblogging phenomenon, but I do wonder (once again) whether or not it’s the type of thing that people will look to their carriers to supply, or if they’ll want to route around the carriers and use other services. Of course, the carriers would love to sell “moblogging” as a separate service they can offer to their users, but many people aren’t going to want their moblog to show up at mywirelesscarrier.com/myusername/moblog – but rather at their own domain. What should make the carriers happy is that moblogging (no matter who provides the moblogging service) will clearly get people using their camera phones to send data.
